Apply to staff

Helper, Mod, Builder, and Dev applications. We open them when there's a need — applications during a closed window are saved but not actively reviewed.

Requirements

  • Minimum age 15
  • 40+ hours of playtime on MistyMC
  • No bans in the last 6 months
  • Active Discord presence (linked account)
  • Comfortable in English
  • NOT applying for in-game perks — staff are volunteers
  • NOT looking to "ban your friends" — we screen for this

What we look for

Staff don't need to be the loudest in chat or the best at PvP. We look for patience, fair-mindedness, and the ability to disagree without escalating. The hardest part of moderating is not the tools — it's the people skills.

The process

  1. 01 Submit the form — usually 15 minutes to fill out honestly.
  2. 02 Background check — playtime, ban history, prior reports.
  3. 03 Discord interview with two existing staff (~30 minutes).
  4. 04 30-day trial as Helper. Promotions follow performance.
