The rules of the mist.

Short, plain, and enforced. By joining MistyMC you agree to follow them.

Behavior

  1. 01 Be respectful. No slurs, no harassment, no hate speech. Period.
  2. 02 No personal attacks, doxxing, or threats. We will permanently ban for this.
  3. 03 No spam, no all-caps walls, no copypasta floods in chat.
  4. 04 Keep it PG-13. Adult content gets you removed without warning.
  5. 05 Don't impersonate staff or other players.
  6. 06 Argue your case once. Don't argue moderation in main chat — open a ticket.

Fair Play

  1. 01 No cheats, hacks, or unauthorised modifications. See the wiki for what's allowed.
  2. 02 No alt accounts to dodge bans, votes, or queues.
  3. 03 No bug abuse. Find a duplication or exploit? Report it. We pay bug bounties for serious finds.
  4. 04 No teaming in solo gamemodes. We define teaming generously — if it walks like teaming, it's teaming.
  5. 05 No queue dodging or stat boosting. ELO is sacred.
  6. 06 No real-money trading of in-game items or accounts.

Survival

  1. 01 No griefing inside or near claims. We have backups and we will roll back.
  2. 02 No claim trapping — placing a claim to deny another player access to their own build.
  3. 03 No unattended AFK auto-farms. Build it, don't botinate it.
  4. 04 No PvP harassment outside opt-in PvP zones.
  5. 05 Use auction house honestly. No price manipulation rings, no fake-listing scams.
  6. 06 Don't scam new players. Trades are final, but staff will reverse obvious abuse.

Reports & Staff

  1. 01 Report rule-breaking via /report or in #staff-tickets on Discord.
  2. 02 Don't false-report. Repeated false reports get your reporting privileges revoked.
  3. 03 Staff decisions stand. If you disagree, appeal — politely.
  4. 04 Staff are not your personal customer support. Public chat is for chat.
  5. 05 Don't DM staff for moderation issues. Use the ticket system.
  6. 06 Bug reports go in #bugs, not #help.

Builds & Cosmetics

  1. 01 No offensive builds. Symbols, language, and shapes count.
  2. 02 No NSFW skins, capes, or pixel art.
  3. 03 No misleading shop names — be honest about what you're selling.
  4. 04 Don't use lighting or redstone tricks to lag the server intentionally.

Penalties

Most rule-breaks start with a verbal warning. Repeated offenses escalate to mutes, kicks, temp-bans, and finally permanent bans. Cheating, alt-banning, and serious harassment skip the early steps and go straight to permanent.
