Economy & Mist Coins

There are two currencies on MistyMC:

1. In-game money — earned in Survival via the shop, auction house, and player markets. Symbol: $.
2. Mist Coins — earned by voting and events. Used in the Mist Shop for cosmetics and consumables across every gamemode. Symbol: ♦.

In-game money (Survival)

Used only in the Survival world. Earned by:

• Selling items at /shop
• Selling at the auction house (/ah)
• Player-to-player trades

Spent on:

• Buying items at /shop
• Bidding at /ah
• Paying claim block bonuses at /claim buy <amount>

There’s a 5% auction house cut on every sale. If you’re trading bulk goods often, build a chest shop in your claim and skip the cut.

Mist Coins

Used everywhere — lobbies, BedWars, Practice, Survival.

Earned by:

• Voting (5 sites × daily = up to 50♦/day)
• Vote streaks (7 days, 14 days, 30 days bonus payouts)
• Tournament placement
• Monthly events
• Killstreak milestones in Build FFA / Soup PvP

Spent on:

• Cosmetics (lobby pets, particles, name tags, capes)
• Per-mode kits (BedWars custom starter kits, Practice cosmetic gear)
• Mist Shop crates (random rolls)

What voting actually pays

Each vote site grants 10♦ plus a small chance at a bonus crate. Voting all 5 sites in 24h triggers a daily bonus of +25♦.

Streak bonuses:

• 7 days → 100♦
• 14 days → 250♦ + cosmetic crate
• 30 days → 500♦ + permanent name tag

If you miss a day, the streak resets. Don’t miss a day.

Pay-to-win? No.

Store ranks unlock cosmetics, more /sethome slots, a chat tag, and a couple of QoL perks (faster /back cooldown, larger AH listing limit). They do not give you items, money, kits, or PvP advantages. We’ve drawn that line and we’re not crossing it.
